GOT Official Charity: Alder Hey - UPDATE: TARGET HIT!

GOT has been online since Feb 2007.

Since then, as a community we should be pretty proud to have positively impacted on a lot of lives.

We're now advocating we use our community to do some good for charity and so, in 2016 (although starting immediately...), we'll have an official charity. Alder Hey Children's Hospital. You may have read recently that Leighton Baines become a patron of Alder Hey. As a community, we're hoping to raise £1878 during the year... Hopefully we can do that and then some!

We'll be running various activities to encourage donations. Raffles, auctions etc - with entries submitted via our JustGiving page, which is here: https://www.justgiving.com/GrandOldTeam

To begin, @micknick will be designing Christmas themed GOT avatars. If anyone wants one, please donate £1 to our JustGiving page and Mick will produce it. He'll be starting a thread soon to manage requests.

We'll also be raffling off a few signed Everton items in December, entries again will be via £1 donations to our JustGiving page.

We'll also ask that anyone considering contributing to GrandOldTeam's running costs via a membership upgrade or donation in December, instead, please donate to our JustGiving link, include your username so we can upgrade your account.
