A mere slip of a lad I was Kev.
In my 50s now and God willing I'll be giving it everything to try get on there one more time before we leave.

Saturday against Ipswich will be my last visit (barring a miracle.)
Can't wait for Bramley Moore, but going to miss Goodison so, so much.

Coventry game.
Bailed out the lower Bullens and did the obligatory knee slide into the centre circle.
Then dug a small square of turf out with my bare hands which I took home and planted it in the garden at mothers with a little fancy bit of a rope/wood fence thing around it. Still there to this day.

I legged on after we stayed up v Coventry, jumped on Thomas Myhres back and got a piggy back for a few yards
I suddenly came to my senses and said in my head "you are 40 years old, grow up"
I sloped off towards where I had been sitting, by this point police and stewards were blocking (or trying to) any further invaders.
I remember tapping a copper on the shoulder and meekly saying, "excuse me, can I get back over the wall to go home please"
