It's going to be emotional the day it's pull down. I have memories going back 50 years there. Many with my father and uncles at a young age. Sadly most are deceased now but the Old Lady holds so many special moments for us all

The stadium's only named after the street it's on, so something like USM Goodison Park wouldn't kick up too much of a fuss, I imagine. If it were named after a person it would be much different.

I'm sure most have already read/listened to @The Esk speaking to the Echo on Usmanov, et al (see here if not). Good stuff, as always, but is anyone else surprised/worried at the pronunciation of "the esk" vs "the E-S-K?"

Or am I just an idiot (likely true in any case)? But this seems to me another potential "Day-veK" like divide.
