Flor de Muertos

Part doc, part Calexico concert film, celebrates the cultures and crossovers along the borderlands of Mexico and Arizona, culminating in the Day of the Dead processional in Tuscon, which looks boss.

On Amazon Prime now.

I've been on a Le Mans documentary binge the past few weeks since watching Le Mans last month so here's a few decent to good documentaries if you're interested in motorsport or engineering documentaries.

Le Mans: Racing is Everything - Documentary following all of the LMP1 teams in the run up to the 2015 24 Hours of Le Mans. Gives a good insight into what goes into a Le Mans campaign and also has a decent human side of the story following a couple of the drivers through the campaign too.

Truth in 24 - Follows Audi's 2008 Le Mans campaign including the run up and shows how well the pit crew and drivers need to work together to win. For a documentary it is also quite exciting keeping you guessing until the last. Narrated by Jason Statham as well if you're wondering who it is.

Truth in 24 II
- Follows Audi's 2011 Le Mans campaign. More of Truth in 24 basically which if you liked you'll like this.

McLaren at LeMans: Pursuit of Perfection - Follows Mclaren's entry into the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans. Considered one of the most exciting races in the event's history it shows how outright pace does not necessarily win Le Mans.

Just watched the Amanda Knox documentary on Netflix and was left absolutely stunned by it... not because it was an amazingly well put together documentary but because of the daily mail journalist it featured "Nick Pisa".

There are no words for how sick this guy is and really does consolidate my view that if you work for the mail you're almost certainly a wrongun on some level.

He's a psycho case. A lot of tabloid journos are.

More of a Mockumentary but if anyone has access to American Netflix (not sure if it's on any others), American Vandal is highly recommended.

Murder Rap about a LA police detective who believes he has solved the murders of Tupac & Biggie Smalls. Really interesting watch. It has one of the uncles of the alleged killer of Tupac confess about the murder. It’s worth a watch.
