Well that's just terrifying really isn't it.
Hi Goat. Big fan of your work!

For my OCD - would you consider changing N’Diaye to a wide forward? He’s much more a forward than a midfielder.

Thanks muchly.

Yes, I have considered it many times, I feel he's a 10 shunted on to the wing, thus I keep him at AM in hope more than anything else.

I may change it to forwards only, but im a 442 man and can't ever give up on the dreams of a modern day Sheedy or Tricky Trev.

But know that it bothers me also.

*edit, changed my mind, yes, yes I will.

Terrifying? It's magnificent. All that dead wood cut away. What an opportunity!

My concern is bringing in a lot of new players, but we need them.
In an Ideal world I would be happy with two new top drawer players, but reality says we need numbers.
I've seen teams before bring in 6 or 7 players and it never works, but I trust Moyes to dig up a few diamonds from somewhere and bed them in gently
Fingers crossed.
Honestly, what never works is Michael Keane, Jack Harrison, and DCL in our first XI.

Get rid and start again.

Correct. We’ve waited years for the dross to flush through and we are now in a great position to bring in new players.
My concern is that clubs know that we need lots of players and they might play hard ball knowing that we are kinda desperate, if PSR didnt exist and we had unlimited money I would be less concerned.

Noticed I listed 4, not 3 UA players.

Was it Moyes who said that Everton have the most loaned players of any premier league team - I counted 5
Alcaraz(LR),Harrison(LR),Lindstrom(LR),Broja(LR),Mangala(LR)
I thought we were only allowed 4?

January rules, Mangala was cancelled in loan terms to free the final spot because he was permanent injured. I think.

Let's hold our geniuses to a high standard. Moyes and his team have to prove their worth now.

Thought it was 6.
2 from PL and 4 from abroad.
Changes constantly, but I think the correct rules are 4 from abroad, 2 from PL, only 4 per window.

Im possibly wrong.

In 2025, Premier League clubs face stricter loan rules. They are limited to six players loaned in and six loaned out at any given time, with exceptions for players under 21 and club-trained players. These rules aim to reduce the reliance on loan players and promote homegrown talent.

Key Points:
  • Limits on Loans:
Premier League clubs can have a maximum of six players on loan in and six on loan out at any given time.

  • Exemptions:
Players under 21 and club-trained players are exempt from these limits.

  • Focus on Homegrown Talent:
The new rules are designed to encourage clubs to develop and utilize their own players rather than relying heavily on loan signings.

  • FIFA's Influence:
These changes are part of a wider initiative by FIFA to reform the loan market and ensure fair competition.

  • Impact on Loan Strategies:
Clubs that heavily relied on loans may need to adjust their strategies, potentially leading to a focus on more permanent signings.
Additional Information:
  • The minimum loan duration is between two transfer windows, and the maximum is one year.

  • Sub-loans are banned to improve transparency and contractual stability.

  • A written agreement with clear financial conditions and duration is required for all loan deals.

  • Clubs are limited to loaning a maximum of three players to the same club in a single season.

  • Loans from clubs in other national associations do not count towards these quotas, with some exceptions for Welsh clubs.
