Give the young lads a run?

I'd like us to use the rest of this season to establish next seasons midfield 3 and centre backs. I.e. reducing the roles of Gana and Keane.
Don’t you be being all sensible with that succession planning lad, can be having any of that!

Let the kids get splinters on the bench, they’re not ready 😴😴😴😴😴😴

Let’s keep picking Keane, Myko or McNeil instead, woo hoo!

When we're categorically out of the race for Europe, then yes by all means.

The league is poor this year, there is no reason we cannot get 7th or 8th. For me, I'm just hoping Newcastle don't hit a run of form.

EDIT:
As low as 8th will get Europe right?

The coefficient will mean top 5 get CL

And likely a top 5 team will win both cups which makes room for 3 extra places?

Think so yeah.

A point to be made though, if we get Europe and with a squad this thin, next year will be dreadful unless we get about 7-8 players in and we're definitely sticking by Moyes for it too.

Why are you worried about them, they are dross and Howe ran out of ideas a long time ago not that he had that many in the first place.

They're still a better team than us, can't help but feel if they go out of Europe in the next round their focus will be back on the league and they'll do enough to make sure they at least qualify for Europe again.

It's still worth it to me, would be great for the fans and we'd 100 % be among the favourites be it Europa or Conference.

The squad would need some bulking, for sure.

As for sticking for Moyes for it, I mean, he won the Conference League and reached the semis of the Europa League twice with West Ham (beaten by the team that would win the competition in both semis). So I'm more than happy for Moyes to manage a Europa or Conference campaign with us.

Dibling, Armstrong, Aznou and now George... The older more experienced players dont look like they are bothered making a push for Europe, We are not going to get relegated and continue the way we are we wont get Europe either, so send out the young lads and see what we have.
I’m not sure you can conclude that the likes of Pickford or Tarkowski don’t look bothered. Or that Dibling does.

Don't think they are anything special tbh, we should never be fearful of them imo.
