Osman, Pienaar? Mirallas is playing right wing and doing it well.

It is difficult to compare CM's with wingers IMO.

I don't think Osman is anywhere near Gibson's quality though, despite him being a good player.

Gibson has everything you need from a CM. He protects his defence, he organises and assures the midfield, whilst also contributing to attack through quick and incisive passing.

I'm not going to get into an argument as to whether Osman is better than Gibson or not, because anyone who knows anything can see that Gibson is the superior player.

Yeah, I suppose he doesn't have a foreign name or a ridiculous hairdo, so he isn't quality, but he does a good job.

He was a Man U cast off and only cost about half a million as well, so yeah, definitely NOT a quality player.

We are turning into what we deride kopites for being. Talk of winning the league and making our good players out to be amazing players.

Gibson is clearly a good player, obviously the fact that we've never lost a league game with on the pitch other than west brom when he went off injured means something. He is our best centre midfielder if you don't count Fellaini obviously but, then we haven't really got many others.

He's a good solid midfielder, just what we need at the mo. He is not quality, he is not a world beater, he is not anything special and his passing is worse than Nevilles. But, he is important to our play, takes up good intelligent positions as a paly stopper and I look forward to his return.
I like him, but people are making out he's some great player.
