So she worked 8 hours a day 5 days a week with two weeks holiday a year? Or did she had someone dress her,run her bath, open her limousine door, serve her every meal, and on and on. Woman never ironed one of her dresses or washed one of her pots in her life.
You seriously have no idea do you?

Stay in your cocoon pal - best place for you.

I'm not a royalist by any means but apparently she loved washing up

So she didn't take holidays for most of the year in her " beloved Scotland"? Or on her free of charge yacht, travel by private plane, limousine, all ready at her whim? The ones with no idea are the fawning boot lickers.
No-one can claim she didn't have privilege, but you seriously think she has lived her life on a permanent holiday?

Whatever suits your agenda mate.

She could take holidays when she wanted and for as long as she wanted. Hardly a "life of service" .
God save the new queen.

Far from a monarchist - but I’d far rather the Lords was completely overhauled then the monarchy abolished.

For all her faults (and I’m sure over 70yrs there were plenty) she at least took the job seriously… something that has been sorely lacking at the upper end of public life in this country for far too long.

For all the many privileges, I wouldn’t swap places with her (or any of the Royal Family) for all the money in the world.
