Looks like a Vine weevil that lays eggs that eats all the roots of your plants - used to be only primulaceous family - now not fussy lethal if they start laying Hermaphrodites to - all of them lay egss no male needed grubs as big as a small prawn in size - dig up plant & squeeze the grubs to death .....
Come on Joe, it's a bit early on a Monday for such erotica...
Worst plant pest I ever come across - the adult vine weevil just took chunks here & there on the adult plant then laid eggs & the weavils ate the roots sometimes completely - the plant would wilt & fall over - true google it ....
I'm not knocking the facts, the autoerotic presentation though...
I was excellent at Botany......
Joe am having issues with my begonias come through since i buried this body in the back garden, any ideas.

They encourage all sorts of wildlife to the garden though.
Frogs, toads, voles, hedgehogs etc. they all love weevils, as do many garden birds.
Well worth losing a few poxy plants for that @Joey66

Just wait til you get the larvae they lay on one of your favorite plants ..... the adult is bomb proof act dead when you put your hand by it - very clever pest ...... I used biological control in the end & it worked we had to water every perennial pot plant under glass .... destroys crops .....They encourage all sorts of wildlife to the garden though.

The shell on the weevils back is like armour plating only your foot stamping on it would kill it !
