Gardening with Joey

Raised the blade up a notch for these cuts .
Going to put a good feed & weed on later hopefully it'll be lush in a month.

Love this time of year

Been using this for years @GrandOldTeam
Once you kill off the moss this stuff keeps it away , cant fault it.

You are a legend mate, I've got that same stuff but I kept overthinking last year on when I should try using it.
I am so bad when it comes to overthinking. I thought if I used that it would than kill any seed I tried using.

Just cut mine for the 3rd time
Consdering the rain we've had it doesnt look too bad.
Needed a couple of light mowings tho.
Just finished.

As always I ended up cutting it that bit to short, left some lovely scuffs, bare patches, and a wonderful array of weeds gazing up at me.

But blue skies, Sunshine and the lovely smell of freshly cut grass, it's a great feeling. (I'll curse myself later for my repetitive mistakes)

Thanks for the response though, it gave me the kick I needed 💙

Weather looks good for the rest of the week.Great time to kick start the garden.

I’ve been wondering around the garden again today , prodding here and there, snowdrops starting to fade daffs not at their peak yet, grass still to have its first cut - we’re usually a few weeks behind everyone else , 12 deg today though 🌞.

I also had a check of my wild flower meadow , mainly to see if the Viper’s Bugloss had seeded. They’re hard work and every so often need coaxing into self seeding by creating some bare earth for the seeds to reach. Although they do seem to somehow float in the wind over the fence into any patch of bare earth in the garden. They are magnificent when they flower in swathes and fantastic the amount of bees they attract .

I love that you have set aside a spot for a wildflower meadow, there is much joy in seeing nature appreciate your work.
