Best thing to do IMO is not to put any fine sand in the flag cracks a mixture of building sand 4-1 & add plenty of salt in to the mix as much as you can afford as this is a great preventive weed killer do a big dry mix & brush in rake out any loose pointing first..with a stiff brush on a dry day - the moisture overnight should set the mix - so you can do it yourself easily - you have to avoid rain for at least three days for it to set - get a large rubber hammer - & bang the mix down on each flag or brick till it fully settles remove the dry mix from the flags after each go -The @Joey66 gardening thread is sadly locked so im making a new thread.
How much do you reckon it'll cost to have the grouting completely redone in this garden ? materials and labour.

I don't know how many green fingered hobbyists there are out there regarding gardening. I know absolutely zilch, and that's putting a positive spin on my knowledge.![]()
I have a Japanese ornamental quince bush, which seems to be growing an inch a day. I pruned (hacked) it a couple of years ago, and last year got a miserly crop of quinces. Should I prune it again this year ?
I want to grow some rosemary and thyme, seeds or ready made plants ?

It's miserable alright, I do have about half an acer that is going to get a lawn hopefully this year, but there's no major rush, Was thinking of launching a few wildflower seed bombs over part of it and see what happens and a few apple trees on another part. Its cold & wet that's why .... when dry keep your lawn cut ....
Yes you can do any of thatIt's miserable alright, I do have about half an acer that is going to get a lawn hopefully this year, but there's no major rush, Was thinking of launching a few wildflower seed bombs over part of it and see what happens and a few apple trees on another part.
Joey i have some uneven pavers causing a mess, splashing water up every time the dog walks on them.
Any pointers on an easy fix?
Lobbing wildflower seeds all over it and sticking a few apple trees in is way better than a lawn. It's miserable alright, I do have about half an acer that is going to get a lawn hopefully this year, but there's no major rush, Was thinking of launching a few wildflower seed bombs over part of it and see what happens and a few apple trees on another par
