This is Maidenhead I'm afraid, there won't be any cheaper quotes. Plus this guy has been doing my garden for about 10 years. They clean up so good you can't find a leaf on the ground anywhere when they've finished.
Always ask locally about other firms ......with good recommendation.......get a detailed quote - familiarity can still cause an over inflated price if you have that much confidence be cheeky after the written quote ask for a discount........if you don't ask you don't get.....

I’m curious what advise does @Joey66 has but at the end of the season I usually enrich my soil by adding one to two layers of manure and compost. Some roots like my green beans I will leave them as they will add nitrogen to the soil.
