I didn't even notice that one, at least they got someone that looks similar.

He wrote the books, not the series.

That scene in the sept was badly executed in my opinion, I'm pretty sure it wasn't meant to look as 'one-way' as it did (trying not to spoiler).

No point getting bothered over changes between the books and series though, as they are clearly going in different directions and it would be impossible to recreate the world that GRRM developed on a TV show.
thats why i wont read the books till after the series, i love the series and they are clearly doing their own thing, so I'm happy to just accept that, I can read the books after

Your mum looks like Robert Baratheon. So there.

Who's the lad at Castle Black that battered that bloke in last night's episode? He's been in it before I swear...

Edit: He's the one that that chopped off Jaimie's hand.

Sorry mate, I was just watching the episode first before I replied to remind myself of what was going on.

@Eric Djemba-Djemba/other book readers, what happens to the Dire Wolves? In last night's one, Brann's one got trapped, in case you haven't watched it.
Pretty sure that Bran and Jon end up getting their's back. Rickon still has his and Sansa's is obviously dead. There's strangely been no mention of Arya's, hers is still alive so I reckon that will have some sort of significance in the later books.

I may be wrong seeing as how it's been a while since I read the books but I think I've got everything right.

Ah fair enough. Nice one.
Without giving away too much detail, will John and Brann meet up in this series?

Hasn't happened in the books mate unfortunately. Would be nice to see some of the Starks actually meet up again. Sansa, Arya and Jon haven't seen another Stark since the first series ffs,

Oh ffs, they probably won't if they still haven't by then, then. Do the white walkers come in to play more as the books develop?

Not really, they've appeared in the series more than the books. I'm expecting big things from them in the last two books.
