Let’s do away with the doom and gloom lads and lasses. How about we reminisce about the times Everton has made us laugh.

I’ll start:

Anyone remember when Richard Wright ignored a sign warning people not to practice in the goalmouth and sprained his ankle causing him to miss the game and subsequent games?

I laugh almost weekly at the people who do the half time competition. It amazes me how many ‘football fans’ actually can’t kick a ball.

Yobo down on one knee tying his laces while the Charlton player waltzed past him to score is one of my favourites

That time we appointed a dreamy Latin manager that had just got a team relegated. . Then did it again a couple of years later expecting a different outcome.

when JJ Kenny had our first shot on target in about 5 games under the fat sam regime and all the fans cheered

oh how we laughed

When we flew Leroy Fer over for a medical, to see the stadium and introduce him to all his teammates.

Then calling up his club's chairman trying to change the deal last moment so we'd pay for him in 10p installments over 2000 years. Classic.
