Best on pitch today: defence, Tarkowski and Myko in particular - so many interceptions and blocks.

Worst: Entire attack, Gray and DCL total slackers. And what even was that from Gordon today. Flabbergasted.

Two CBs terrific again, Pickford very solid but my MoM is a player I often criticise but who might have just put in his best display for Everton - Mykolenko take a bow son.

Based on the number of chances they've had, I'm surprised we aren't behind. However, we haven't been terrible today, and played well in parts.

What parts the opening 10 minutes? To keep a clean sheet we did well but overall thought we was poor.

Mykolenko MOTM easy. Look really solid at the back, we would have lost that game the last few seasons without doubt. But serious work required when in possession and attacking. Second half we were woeful and never threatened again.

We had a solid competitive first half and then another second half where we weren't in the game. I guess it is nice to have it down to one half instead of the whole match away but it still isn't very good.
