Good to see us take another 3 points today. Just wonder why we have a habit of not turning up for half the match. We`ve been leaving games having been outplayed for half the match, it would be a nice change to actually get a grip on a game from the start and really control a game.
Moyes needs to have a think about he sets us up and then how he sends us out. Often the shape is well out of whack and we don't look interested?

We should have been 4-0 down at HT.

Before you start crowning Moyes as a genius reflect on that FACT.

He got it wrong but was able to react at HT against a poor Fulham defence.
I can definitely see this.

We started well for 10 minutes then completely fell apart. The goal was calamitous and they hit the woodwork twice in the first half through Skid-Row and Chukwueze, I think it was. There were also very good opportunities for Sessegnon and another, with one shot closely wide and Pickford smartly out to save another.

We, on the other hand, offered nothing up front. We should definitely count ourselves lucky to have only been a single goal down.

I praise the manager for once again being able to encourage to the team to perform better after the break, but he's needs to be able to send them out and perform from the off. Better teams than Brighton and Fulham will put us to the sword if we play like that again first half.

We must be the easiest team to be preparing to play against. He sets us up the same way, with the same players when available. He has no plan B when things are not working, its just change one or two players but continue with plan A.

We were dead lucky...

Why? When we miss chances or hit the bar do we say we are unlucky ?

No , we whinge tha are strikers are crap …

They hit the bar , we hit the post , they only beat Pickford with an own goal and that was after Keane passed to the in the box …

They didn’t kill is off … and they paid for it …

But the original point being made was that we should have gone in 4-0 Down “ and that’s a fact “ it’s not fact though is it? That’s the point I was making … fats are facts … saying we should have or could have is a matter of opinion

Much better second half, but you have to say that Fulham Evertoned that up - they should really have been out of sight at half time.

Great three points for us tho.

According to MOTD Branners is having his minutes managed - that’s why he was out?
Moyes will look back on the game as a masterstroke to 'save' Branthwaite for Tuesday given we won the game, but sooner or later — for example immediately — he's going to need to drop his mate Michael Keane.

You cannot play your best central defender at left back and purposely weaken your centre half pairing as he found out against Brighton last week.

Providing he comes through the game ok against Bournemouth, and with the extended time he was given to regain fitness, AND with there being two weeks until our next fixture against United, now is the time to start each game with Jarrad unless he's not match fit.

I can live with Jake playing right back until the end of the season as Patterson genuinely isn't really a step up from him, and Moyes is right in that JOB provides a great aerial threat in both boxes.

I personally don't mind us seeing out games with four centre halves if we're two up, but we should never, ever start games that way again.

Obviously we don’t want him breaking down again. But aye, clearly we also want him on the pitch - and at CB.

The future has to be JOB and JB at CB.

But I think it’s clear that the manager’s first choice defence for the rest of the season is going to retain JOB at RB, despite he himself admitting that his performances there have not been as strong as last season. He’s not going to drop Tarkowski as he values his leadership.

I can also live with that, however Tarkowski cannot be deemed untouchable next season when we, surely, have a proper right back in the squad.

That is, unless Branthwaite has already been identified as the source of our summer spending which would then only leave JOB, JT and no doubt MK on yet another contract extension.

This is the dream

Let’s not even talk about the other thing.
