a 2-0 win at fulham is a great result.

finishing 5th is a great end to the prem season ......just think , with a better start and less injuries we could have perhaps finished higher.

thinking back to how bad things were looking just before the last day of the transfer window in the summer , the team have pulled it out the bag the hard way and with little luck or favours.

well done moyes , the staff and the players !:yahoo:

Absolutely thrilled with the way the day has gone... haven't been this satisfied since the season we qualified for the CL.

To win at Craven Cottage 2-0 is one thing, but to beat Villa to 5th and see the geordies go down at the same time is sweet, sweet music. :D

Bring on Chelsea!! COYB!!!

Both of them had problems with their hamstring, however not serious according to Moyes "niggles" was the word used. They should be fine for Saturday.

Anyway i couldnt watch this match, sum up anyone?

Unable to watch game so will have to wait for MOTD. But Congrats to all the playing staff and david Moyes for a great season which is still not over.

Last time we beat Fulham at the Cottage was 1966 is there an omen in that!!

5th place is a wonderful finish and considering our injury problems is a marvellous achievement.

Well done Everton:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::cheers::pint::pint:

Fantastic effort this season lads. I remember the doom and gloom at the start of the campaign, when things were rough. The way they've turned it round is fantastic.

Now let's finish the job.

a fantastic (almost) end to a season that started with so little promise. The way the players have performed out of position and against the odds has been truly magnificent.
Well done Everton, my heroes, my team, forever.

Wouldnt say we controlled the game, but we dictated a lot and made some good chances. Saha hit the bar, Cahill, Ossie, Rodwell, Pienaar all had good atempts.

Pienaar was sublime today, really on top form.

Rodwell played further up the field, just off Cahill and IMO will be a awesome player in 2 years time, built in confidence and hussled well, passed well and had some neat touches (a class flick in the box late in the game). It added balance when he supported the front 2.

Some shaky moments when Fulham had some half chances. Hibbert cleared off the line when we were 2 up.

Ossie was non existant apart from the two superbly taken goals and when he moved into the middle. His second goal was superb. Cut inside, moved it past 3 on coming defenders and curled it into the bottom corner.

Pienaar had a bit of a hamstring niggle but its meant to be okay.

It'll be interesting to see how Moyes lines up against Chelsea.

I think it is a case of Fellaini, Rodwell or Saha. Fellaini played well last week and according to Goodlass both Saha and Rodwell did today. Good to see a bit of competition before the final.

Think it's nailed on after today

Hibbert-Yobo-Lescott-Baines
Osman-Neville-Cahill-Pienaar
-------------Fallaini
-------------Saha

Don't doubt it for a second

We have no chance with that side mate, for a start we have no goalkeeper in the team!(y)

still my concern is how many points the top 4 have 0.o i cant remember a season when 4th had such high points

i bet all the ossy lovers will be saying once again he has had a great match because he scored

He scored twice, you massive bellend.

Happy with that, confidence going into next week.

And thats what its all about: next week.

Still, think back to October - how did we manage that.

Onwards and upwards Evertonians.

Exactly. I said we'd finish 8th or 9th with a good Uefa cup run and that's it........bit wrong there like.
