Sad news of the passing of one our great centre forwards. When you consider how iconic the number 9 shirt was for this club and how he wore it with such distinction, it makes it all the more galling to witness the dross we currently have up front for us nowadays.

Great finisher Fred. I think he had some hard times after he finished playing. Centre halves knew they had been in a game when they were up against Fred.
