A true pioneer, regardless of whether you had a taste for house music or not, this man changed a generation's attitudes to listening to music.
Salvaged Spike Island for the Stone Roses, and his influence carries to this day.
Big loss for music, and such a young age too..

RIP to possibly the most important man in terms of shaping the electronic music scene we know today.

The mad thing is that all the people listening to this 'EDM' crap now will have no idea who he is. One of the true legends (massively overused phrase).

Your Love and Tears, though 25+ years old, still sound great today. Not many of these type of records stand the test of time but those two are complete classics (again another overused phrase)
 
Referred to as 'The Godfather of House' by the NME back then In the Day.


Just remember that every time you 'Feel Like Throwin' Your Hands Up In the Air' it's down to this guy.
