I like Lampard as a person whether he's cut out as a manager who knows the issue is even a old fashioned fire fighter wouldn't be making this rabble solid. So the only way out probably is to attack with our resources? But if your forwards aren't showing up either you are deep in the mire. Our only hope in my view is Burnley don't pick up more points than us and that starts with not getting beat on Wednesday. I am not confident though because what Burnley lack in skill they make up for in grit.

The calibre of manager that we should look at or who should want to come to a club such as ourselves is going to be immediately put off by the fact its the owner and his agent mate dictating the recruitment policy. Most managers/coaches won't put up with that so you end up with the dregs like we do.

Also, we have done nothing in football for years and years, we have beeen in the bottom 5 for god knows how long. We have a poor record of giving managers time (rightly or wrongly).

Not many caveats as to why you would want to join Everton football club.

This is like the 4th/5th manager these players have now been half-arsed under.

Benitez was a problem but he wasnt the only problem.
Ancelotti got the best out of a largely average bunch, even then not for the whole season.
Silva, they downed tools for.

When will we learn that the players are a huge part of the problem.

kinda funny when Lampard and the Chelsea squad kept winning under multiple managers which went against all conventional thinking.

What happened the num 10 wasn’t his fault but the sales of James and Digne are 100% on the FSW. He has left us probably fatally wounded through his arrogance and stupidity.

Ultimately the James move had to happen as much as I hated it. Because he was on too much money, whether he was on 150k or 250k a week. It was too much for where Everton were financially.

But Benitez's idea to replace him was with the creativity to come through the wingers, yet he signed two wingers who have never been and never will be creative, as evidenced by the fact that Digne, who has not played for the club since December 1st, is still the fourth-most creative player in the squad.
