Trying to play a midfield 4 with Gomes and Iwobi against a team with good off the ball movement and pace/mobility is a recipe for disaster as we’ve seen under successive managers. Don’t know how many times we have to see it.

We have all said the same all season yet they still do it need to wake up to the fact it doesn't work.

the subs in both away games have been the wrong ones, but he should expect more from them players, they are horrible. I hope he can keep us up and do a full clear out, can't allow them to get another manager sacked.

The Newcastle and Soton performances are as bad as anything Benitez served up IMO.

He desperately needs to find a way to play away from home. We are too open. Even a few draws will make all the difference.

Yeah we cant set up the same way away from home because these players are so soft. They are easy to play against. They don't battle. They give up in the face of pressure or adversity.

Park bus and hoof away from home till the end of the year.

And if he'd have swapped a couple of players and we'd have lost, there'd be hundreds bemoaning making changes after last week's performance.

Ultimately the squad has a lot of weak links which need replacing.
