Why was he was ever welcomed back to the club in the first place?

He couldn’t get out the door quick enough to Arsenal, and then told Rooney to leave.

You wonder how some of these players end up at the club on a gravy train, he might be a great coach I don’t know, would he have the opportunity any where else but here?

This and previous media reports don’t present the best profile to project for the club or an example for young players.

I wouldn’t be a Bill basher, but he has a real issue with bringing back former players, he likely had to let go because we needed the money, but said players showed no loyalty and don’t deserve the gravy train, Jeffers, Rooney, Pienaar.

Sad when you think of some former Everton legends who showed massive loyalty, not linked with the club in any way.
