Everton's Brazilian midfielder Franca Anderson Silva has signed a 12-month contract extension with the club while boss David Moyes is being linked with Manchester United duo Kieran Richardson and Alan Smith.

Moyes signed Silva in late 2005 but immigration issues meant the 24-year-old did not officially become a Toffees player until January 2007.

During the 6 minutes he played against Charlton, he looked decent.

It is Anderson de Silva franca, and here is the official link. Yes I have seen him play for the reserves and he looks quality. He hits hard, and has picked up the pace of the game. He has close ball skills like Fernandes and Moyes and the staff like him and his attitude a lot. Very professional but will probably kill someone if he loses his temper.

Dam straight mate. Knowing what you like this is your type of player. He loves the club also which is why he is happy to stay. I just hope he becomes good enough to start. I mentioned somewhere last night that we will see quite a bit of him this year. He wears his heart on his sleeve and players bounce off him. Imagine that, a brazilian that is hard as [Poor language removed]. and still skillful. Nice one moyesie.
