Former Everton Centre Forward Duncan Ferguson steps into management.....

You were warned about not doing your zip up.
Yeah but she is a proper Fylde legend.

Taken from her wiki page.

Maccas mum had colorful career included side jobs as a tavern-keeper and brothel owner, but she is best remembered as one of the 20th century’s most accomplished swordswomen. A professional hardarse by trade, this Fylde local was a born brawler who claimed to have participated in at least 100 duels, including a few in which she crossed steel with several different opponents in succession. Along the way, she also opened a fencing school and developed a sword-fighting technique that combined graceful movement with swift and deadly lunges. One signature move, the “Maccess ma’s Thrust,” called for the fighter to drop to one knee while simultaneously jabbing her sword upward in a vicious blow. Despite suffering some two-dozen wounds from musket balls, bayonets and grenades during her military career, Macca’s Ma was well into her old age and even worked as a prizefighter in her sixties. Shortly before she gave it up to look after her wet-wipe of a son, she summed up her experiences in a raucous autobiography and her fencing manual titled The Expert Sword-Swallowing Companion.

3 stars? 3 fkin stars. Mans a Coasters legend, should be pushing for 5 by now.

Out of contract next season and we need to get him on at least another 5yr contract. Make it happen Haythornwaite ya useless carpetbagger.

@The Penalty Box Dancer, thanks for posting, couple of questions.

are the coaching and mental stats out of 20?

are we looking strengthen our goalkeeping options?

can you post the expanded career milestones/stats pages?

why isn’t our scouting network global seeing that we are the latest north-western powerhouse?

is there any similar stats for big Dunc pigeon fancying?

Thanks in advance

Hi Jimi, yes stats are rated out of 20.

I don't think a goalkeeper is a priority with Neil Foster and Tom Hadler at the club.

Scouting is now being expanded into Europe and the scouting team have been searching for talent in Italy.

There is a lot of info on the career milestones page but will try and post some of it periodically

The Championship season kicks off at the Hawthorns with a tough away trip for Fylde. Their first home game is against Norwich City a week later followed by Derby County in the League Cup first round.
Fylde finish the season with an away trip to Duncan Ferguson's former club Bolton Wanderers although it was only a brief stint with The Trotters.

That 2023-24 season seems like a distant memory. How different things might have been?

Joey Barton getting us relegated may have been the best thing to happen to this club in the modern era.

“Joey Barton has kept his job for now but whether he remains there in the summer is to be seen. There is a lot of discontent amongst supporters who feel Barton has no connection with the fans and does not know his best team. Duncan Ferguson built this team over the course of four seasons and many of the supporters still hold a torch for the big man.“

The little turd even got a years contract extension. Wish we’d had more harpoons back then.
