Thought I’d check the Forever Blue FAQ in the Account section. I really should have learned by now:

Just had an email informing me I'm being "auto renewed" for ForeverBlue.

I thought I hadn't ticked the box last year.

Supporters must maintain their Forever Blue or Forever Blue+ Members status to remain in Tier 1 of the waiting list.

I think they might have to formally give notice of on any renewals even if you didn't tick a box last summer. For one thing some accounts might not have the cash there and they'd have to notify the members to have the cash there to sort the transaction.

The email did say you have two weeks to opt out before they charge you on the 15th June.

I've not called the club yet, I don't have the patience.

I'll give it a day or two and try and work up the courage to ring them.

I thought I'd check my bank, on line, to see if there are any recurring payments set against the card I used. Nope, couldn't find it.

Online chat ensued with a robot who subsequently apologised for not being able to help me.
