Check out this brilliant video, where the Argentinian San Lorenzo-supporters celebrate their 3-1 win over San Martin San Juan. Absolutely superb.

Who's the best fans in the world for you? Can you find something better?

San Lorenzo are the pope's team.

That place is buzzin. Must be great being part of that atmosphere. Sadly you could hear a pin drop at Goodison most games.

FC Union are not just the club whose fans literally rebuilt their stadium, they're not just the club whose fans literally gave their blood in order to become owners of said stadium, they're also the club whose fans meet every christmas at the stadium at night with candles to sing christmas songs:

They also have a couple of anthems, here's one that always made me smile (I was at this game too, this is away at Hertha)

Aye...with fans like those from San Lorenzo (what an atmosphere!) and FC Union (amazing dedication to their club.) there's hope that football will remain the beautiful game, the people's sport, it's always been...even in the face of corporate domination.

Even Everton has done their bit for the good of the game: allowing season ticket holders to vote for Kirkby (ok, that didn't come off in the end anyway, but the vote was put to the fans).

But as we're historically a big club and successful, we're less inclined to create an atmosphere just for the sake of it. We need on-pitch inspiration. I think the smaller clubs do that kind of thing better.

Well Foreign fans will always be known as the best because they carry flares etc but I've got to say, Celtic have got to be up there.
90K Fans at Seville is just incredible.

Some may laugh when I say Celtic but they don't do none of this flares business. They just sing!

Legia Warsaws away support is really noisy as well. Loudest away support I've ever heard, when Rosenborg beat them to qualify for Europa League last season.

Also the best live game I've ever experienced. Scoring a winner as beautiful as this one in the 86th minute (skip to 4:54) to get back into Europe was absolutely brilliant.

Edit: They we're also absolute thugs though. Setting seats on fire, climbing into the VIP area to **** up things there and bringing a lot of flares to the game. Still fun to watch.
