Anyone know when Sunderland game will be confirmed, as I need to book hotel and train,
Not sure if this helps mate, I think it's been on the Sunday for a while?

Edit*
maybe not, just found below on some website linked below

Game Week 37 (May 17)

  • What they said: Adjustment will happen April 8, 2026.
  • Now they have changed it to “After the FA Cup Semifinals,” which means April 27! What a class act is the Premier League.

TV matches for that week won’t be publicised until after the FA Cup semis which will be held on 25th & 26th of this month. So Sunderland match date/time likely not confirmed until at least Monday 27th.
I dare not book anything because the way the season has gone it will be sat lunch, sat evening or Friday,

it can’t be saturday due to fa cup final

the date of the game is bradley lowery’s birthday which is usrely no coincidence, ao i imagine we stay on that date

but of course i would not be surprised to see us grace monday night football once more

It won’t be on the Saturday because of the FA Cup Final - no Prem games will be held that day. You will see that at present all Prem matches for that weekend are showing as 3:00 pm kick off on the Sunday (May 17th). I’m pretty sure that there won’t be a match(es) on the Friday night, so the televised games look likely to be Sunday lunchtime, Sunday teatime and Monday night. I guess the chances of our match with Sunderland being switched for TV will hinge on whether we’re still battling for a European place after this weekend’s visit of the RS and the following away game at WHU, and in competition with whatever are seen as the ‘big games’ on that weekend when we play Sunderland. I’m in exactly the same position as you; I travel from the Isle of Man so I have to wait for the TV schedules before I can book travel/accommodation.

Good point about Bradley birthday, be surprised if that was a live game to be honest as top and bottom could go to the wire

Thanks for that, I'm up from suffolk and with the top and bottom deciders they will more likely be live if not resolved

There were 2 PL games last season on the Friday night before the cup final

I had an inkling that there might have been but then persuaded myself that I was wrong, hence suggesting that there wouldn’t be this time around. Thanks for that clarification. I guess we may be shifted to the Friday then. Were those two last year televised?

Edited to add: I see that both were televised live: Villa beating Spurs 2-0 and Chelsea beating MUFC 1-0.

I might be wrong but that was because Spurs and Man U were in the Europa League final the following week.
