I wonder whether we will get a harsh telling off over this with some sort of suspended fine/points deduction but they will 'get us' as such in another way by knocking the 777 thing back?

They have, Middlesbrough got docked 3 points in 96/97 for not fulfilling a Christmas fixture at Blackburn which turned out to be what relegated them come the end of the season

Portsmouth got a 9 point deduction in 2010 for going into administration which they couldn’t recover from

But never 12 for P&S or FFP.

Admin is the worst offense and missing a league game. Both are instant clearly defined punishments

This stuff?? They'll be making it up and as their biggest cash cow is also lined up to be scrutinized.. they'll have no idea what to do

What if the commission has found us guilty and has asked the prem for their recommendations on the punishment to impose
That, my friend, is a known unknown at the moment.

Whatever the determination, if we are unhappy we can examine options for appeals.

The PL, IF IT IS TRUE what the telegraph has reported, may have put their size 12s through the whole case, and the High Court may throw out a verdict that punishes Everton on the grounds of prejudicial interference by the PL in a sub judice case.
