The confusion is yours. Why do you believe I cant logically condemn him for using weak anecdotal evidence he's acquired
and condemn him for revealing the contents of private messaging? Are those two mutually exclusive in your world?

He's a broadcaster on the subject because of his expertise and his contacts in the industry, and has written extensively on the subject for multiple clubs. So it is laughable to be questioning his credentials or motives against the backdrop of our club....
No, the conflation is his: the rank governance of Everton and his highlighting of that is being used by him as a proxy for not having a clue what the specifics of the PL referral of Everton are. He doesn't know that information so he fishes about for 'people in the locality' who believe it's down to a player sale not happening.
