If Fellaini is out then Gibson and Osman is the logical partnership..

but Neville in the derby is always a recipe for disaster...

Bit unfair, I was made up with him for doing that, gave us a chance.

If Gibson and Fellaini are fit, I can see Osman being pushed out right mid to accommodate Nev in midfield.

If he's feeling zesty, and Moyes decides to play Mirallas, Nev will play right back and Coleman will drop to the bench.

If neither of the above happen and Nev is dropped to the bench th...lets face it one of those things is happening.

CAN WE EVER KEEP A FULL SQUAD FFS

No team can keep a full squad from injuries.

It'll be like taking a banana to a nuclear war.

come again??

The way i see it is, he's 1 yellow away from a ban, so not playing him at QPR was prob gonna happen, its just the race against time to have him ready, we will have Gibson back and he can play Victor behind Jelavic and then have Pienaar, Mirallas, Osman Gibson in midfield.

We've got options in the position he's playing. Osman can play there, Pienaar can tuck inside, Mirallas looked promising as a second striker against Wigan and Naismith has played off Jelavic at Ranlgers

I'd worry about us lacking his physical presence more than anything, I think we have the players to retain that link up play/goal threat, but we look a little light in midfield and the position he's playing requires someone with bit of nous when we don't have the ball. Gibson coming back will give us a boost but It wouldn't surprise me if Neville stayed in midfield for the time being.

I will be grad if all of them just retire from international football like Pienaar.

1) whens he ever played well against Liverpool?

2) should of been sent odff v Wigan so should be banned anyway

3)arsed

Oh my word. Gibson and Der Hammer will have to step to the midfield plate. Maybe Naisy'll get his chance too.

EDIT: Actually, three weeks? Today is the tenth, the derby is on the 28th so that's two weeks four days, maybe he will be available then.

They need to get him back to Finch Farm ASAP. Don't trust the Belgians. Since when do national team medical teams announce how long a player will be out for? It's for the players' club to make that prognosis.

I'd imagine EFC will be busting a gut to try to have Felli fit for the derby.
