A screamer here. Don't hold back, Cal.

Will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER be worth 15 million.

He is so average it's unbelievable to see.

He doesn't even have any good qualities.

Worth about 5-8 million but because it was last day of the transfer deadline, and Standard didn't want to sell, Everton just said name a price and we'll pay it.

a) because we hadn't spent ANY money at all and Kenwright needed the fans off his back.

b) because he was the only CM available that was abit better then a yard dog like Neville.

Bring back Cal ffs. He was ace.

Let's be honest there were a couple of doubters at the beginning, especially with the massive price tag over his head. I'm really happy he's become as good as he is.

This is a number of a number of beaut threads from Mofro early days in the vaults - tbh this one is prob the least embarrassing for a few.

Haha I remember reading them all before starting to post. Cal was torn to pieces by Danny in this one.

It's great reading, but I'm sure we've all made statements that come back to haunt us. I always reckoned Baines was never going to make it, and after his first season with us sat mostly on the bench I wasn't convinced. So glad he proved otherwise.

Tbf after news of the attacks in Norway started coming through I was like ITS DEFO MUSLIMS AGAIN FFS on here so I can let Cal off with this one.

Mine was Jags would never make a centre back after loosing 3-2 to Arsenal at home despite being 2-0 up.

Another paper claiming Rodgers in for Fellani, don't think Everton would sell him to Liverpool to be fair.

Sports News Ireland said:
Newly installed Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is ready to shake up Merseyside with a daring move for Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini.

The former Swansea manager, who only assumed control of the Anfield giants on Friday, is ready to take advantage of Everton’s financial woes with a big money move for the Belgian International.

The central midfielder impressed for the Toffee’s last season and is also reportedly a target for Champions League winners Chelsea.

While a move for Fellaini is likely to be met with resistance from Everton boss David Moyes, Rodgers is believed to be a fan of the flexible midfielder with his ball winning defensive role complimented by a real attacking threat.

Rodgers is keen to add some steel to his midfield with Charlie Adam, Jay Spearing and Jordan Henderson all struggling at times last season and at 6ft 4â€￾ Fellaini fits the bill, while his age, 24, also meets the requirements of the talent acquisition policy implemented by FSG.

Fellaini will be at Everton next season, imo. we'll get champions league as well, or something.

europa, no chance of champs league though, would like to think we can finish above the ****e and newcastle though, man city, and chelsea have the top 2 spots sewn up already i think

If there is one thing I've learnt since the beginning of the prem it is to never write off united.......
