Fellaini Has A Big Decision To Make

I'm expecting 100% from Fellaini until the end of the season after these comments, if he thinks he's good enough to play in a Champions League side then he's got to show it

A freaking men. No more Reading or West Brom showings. We need Fulham and Man U Fellaini all season.

TBH in Fellaini's position that's exactly what I'd be saying. He's not jumping ship on the last day of the transfer window, he's not walking out for a big payday. He's stated his ambition and he's giving the club 2/3rds of a season to achieve it.

Whats Fellaini said that is wrong? He said his first priority is getting Everton into the Champions League, if we cant get it, then he will go. That says to me he wants to succeed and play at the highest level with the club, he doesnt necessarily want to leave, but he feels he may have to to further his career, which i have no problem with.

That he will look for a new club in January.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being ambitious , just as he was when he left belgium to come over here . The player's own manager has yet to commit himself to a deal so one could totally understand felliani looking to his future and casting envious glances across the prem.

I am impressed by the idea he'll stay if we get top four and I'd be delighted firstly if we did , secondly if they are genuine comments by the player & thirdly if he means it. Football player lie , everyone in football lies whether it's "I'm not interested in a move" , "this player is our future , we aren't in the business of selling our best players " and "there has been no approach" etc.... So pretty much everything said by anybody in football has to be taken with a huge pinch of salt.

Lastly the idea that players become attached to clubs , the fans or whatever . There is no doubt that some do but as somebody heavily involved in football explained to me only the other day "you need to realise players are c@nts, once you realise that you've got a chance in this business " .

Sorry to be cynical and I really hope felliani does think like this and will be happy to stay but my belief in footy players expired some time ago particularly ones as talented and in demand as this one. the only thing you can ever really ask or expect is that when they are with you they do their best and make a difference and felliani is doing just that.

Hopefully Fellainis talk means that board understands how important it would be to give Moyes some credits to buzz in transfer market.
January will be immense
And yes I believe there will be ins

Not cynical at all, we have one of the best left backs in the world and he had never once come and and said he would look for a move, does this make Bainsey less ambitious? No, I think it shows the character of the player.

Totally agree by the way mate, footy is not a game anymore it's a commercial decision making signature riddled disease.

He's only saying what we all pretty much knew anyway, and lets face it although our chances are still quite slim this year is probably the best chance we will get to sneak 4th imo.
