Fellaini and Moyes need a good chat

I personally would love to see 442 week in week out, so from where I see it there's only one solution

Last season, Fellaini (our record buy) was playing in the position he was bought to play in. Which is a solid, defensive midfielder who can break up the play and distribute the ball. As a result of Fellaini playing there, Heitinga was subsequently able to fulfil his role in the side which he was bought for at Centre half alongside Jags - no Distin - happy days. Cahill behind the striker and Arteta pulls the strings. Stevie links up with Baines on the left and Neville and Osman just do their own thing on the right. Which has the make up of a solid team who goes on a top 4 style run of games losing only 3 since October or something like that.

Now prior to Cahills injury this season, for some baffling reason Fellaini was on the bench and now starting is used as the link up man (effectively assuming the role of Duncan Ferguson, and we all know how poor it was back then when we just used to pump the ball up to the big man). Fellaini needs to get Moyes to one side and get him back in the middle of the park, as that is where we are overrun. Heitinga looks lost in DM and subsequently Arteta is not being allowed to do what he can as he's having to help out. Then Heitinga can form his partnership with Jagielka again, leaving Distin to warm the bench. So the Defence and Midfield would instantly look solid again.

Moyes' only argument against that would likely be that there's no 'attacking midfielder' whilst Cahill is out to fill that role. Well you've got a perfectly adequate natural 'attacking midfielder' sat on the bench in Bily. Just because he's a lefty doesnt mean to say thats his position. You've also got one stuck out on the right in Osman running round like a headless chicken. OR you could do the unthinkable and put Yakubu and Beckford together and play 442... :o

He has tore the heart of the team out to avoid putting the likes of Osman or Bily behind the front man. And in a nutshell, needs to stick Mofro back in the middle and it will be hunky dory.

Do your research mate.

Heitinga and Jagielka have never played together at Centre Back.

But yeah, I do agree with the point of the article

Yeah right.

If Fellaini dared "have a word" he'd be shunted out the club with rumours of him having a bad attitude before you can say play me in my best position you fool.
