What's been your best last match of the season so far, and why?

For me, the relief of the 94 Wimbledon match can't be underestimated, cos at 2-0 down I really thought we were about to fall through the trap door.

For similar reasons, the Coventry one in 98 was also notable (although both of these matches had so much hanging on them that there weren't enjoyable for me).

Other memorable ones are Man City 5-2 away in the early 90s under Kendall, and Aston Villa at 1-0 home under Royle. That was the day we very nearly qualified for Europe when we had Kanchelskis. Great atmosphere, and but for bergkamp scoring late on for Arsenal, we'd have done it.

West Brom at home , Dunc's last game.

When we beat Newcastle at home when we finished 4th. Remember Cahill's goal, he gave the keeper the eyes big time. Boss.

The WBA game was horrible, though. At one stage we were 2 - 0 down at home to a team managed by Bryan Robson!

One game I really enjoyed was a 3 - 0 demolition of Portsmouth in about 2006 or 2007. Fernandez and Arteta were a joy to watch in the second half. Another good game was beating Newcastle 3 - 1, with Yobo & Yakubu (2) scoring. We were awarded our first penalty of the season with about 12 minutes to go! Carsley's last game iirc.
