A word of clarification about the debt repayment.
Repayment of the long term debt enables progress re ground move and probably needed to be done to allow the exercise of the options.
Repayment of short term is debt is fine, but the facility is apparently still there, so as @The Esk has already admitted, spending in January may mean that this facility is utilised.
Remember, the charges are still registered with Companies House.
Just saying.

Was on the OS looking for the accounts yesterday and in the key people/directors bit couldn't help but notice that Keith Harris doesn't get a profile page or mention.
Must have made quite an impression since being appointed.

I'm sure he means well but the execution at times has been amateurish.

The James McCarthy statement.

The Jim White text buddy.

The Goodison Park facelift that has taken half a year to erect some tarpaulin and cladding.

The minimal net spend following the sale of Stones.

The inability to secure our top transfer targets.

The limited communication with the fans.

The promotion of Elstone.

I'm very much reserving judgement.

Yet he has decided to save the club a ton of money by paying off a load of interest bearing debt ?

Proper fraud him. How dare he get things in order .

Hello mate, please point out where I called him a fraud?

I actually said I believe he means well (hence his paying off the debt) but it's the amateurness that prevents me from letting my guard down.

Now kindly reign in the hostility xx

So lucky to have him, can put up with a few rubbish results and the annual Derby roll over for now, the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter and big things are coming!

The guy who put £80 million into the club at no cost to the club, enabling the secured and short term debt to be paid off, thereby allowing the land purchase to proceed which in turn will lead to 'the best club ground in the country' and you are calling him a fraud?

I missed this somehow. Who are we quoting here?
