What use is that going to do?

What message does that send to the players, when before we’ve even kicked a ball, they’re already on to a hiding.

I hate this appointment. Moshiri has clearly not learnt his lessons, but you’ve got to at least get behind Nuno.

Not quite true. Lots of clubs have worse owners. Ours is just a bit of a rich divvy who's out of his depth. He hasn't bankrupted us, sold the training ground and the stadium and then done a dodgy lease back deal like lots of owners.

Moshiri could make as many mistakes as he liked for as long as he was putting his hand in his pocket and allowing us to dream. To his credit, he allowed grizzled old Evertonians to dream for the first time in over 20 years. But when the mistakes keep happening and the dream is revealed to be delusion, then things take a sinister turn. I think he'll regret this appointment. His lack of credibility was forgiven because he showed as much ambition in just a few summers as Bill Kenwright showed when becoming a Coronation Street extra. Now THAT was chutzpah! But now that the ambition has, clearly, fallen away, there is nothing to fall back on. Zero credibility. Turbulent times ahoy!
