That's a very defeatist attitude. You don't want to replace our abysmal owner because we could get a worse one?

How about we do what most clubs do and get an owner who appoints the right people and lets them do their job. Moshiri is taking us down one way or other. If we somehow survive this season, then we are gone soon after. This season has been an utter debacle....

Its Everton, id be more confident of us getting a worse owner than a better one.

Also you would be relying on our current abysmal owner to make a good decision as to who he sold the club to…

As you know he’s not very good at decisions and finding replacements whether that be managers, dofs or new signings.

He wanted Vitor Pierara

His extensive search for a manager lead him to Vitor Pierara. That tells you two things:
1) he’s utterly clueless
2) he’s being advised by people who have a very different agenda to the needs of the club

God can you imagine how unhappy the fanbase would be with him in charge

Not his own long term thinking though, as stated he would have had Pereira in on a 6 month deal had the fans not protested.

Mosihiri wanted an Allardyce figure who would just keep the club up and then he'd make a long term appointment in the summer.

Big Dunc might have had the opportunity but he blew his chance in the Villa game. The problem with Perreira is it wasn't exactly a safe appointment like Allardyce was. He's never managed over here and has a very patchy CV but Moshiri was listening to his agent mates.

The Lampard appointment just showed the fuzzy thinking from him as he went from wanting Pereira till the end of the season to appointing Lampard within days. With Benitez he didn't back down, he wanted him whatever, so that's probably affected the faith in his own judgement, or Kenwright has just panicked him into the repercussions of relegation.

He was prepared to face the fans down over Benitez, it's relegation he fears, not the Everton crowd.

People talk about the possibility of Vitor demonstrating his naivete and tendency to be influenced by opportunists and dimwits, they're correct but what truly sums up his ineptitude was even before Vitor , if it wasn't for the Belgian FA he would of rehired Martinez. Which is staggering the man who he sacked for being perpetually mediocre he was going to bring back due to Bill obviously swaying his decision. He just lacks any savviness in footballing matters and the people surrounding him are equally incapable of providing solid counsel its a very bleak situation.

I think the warning signs were there with Bolasie for £28m tbh.
I was hoping that would have been a one off, and in another universe it might have proved worth it had his leg not fell off, he did provide some good assists that season when he did play

After that we just got really stupid, £30m for Keane when it should have been £10 or less being it was his final year, £30m for Pickford was way too high for a young keeper, bidding against ourselves for Iceland when Swansea demanded too much instead of walking away, Iwobi etc. If we had a better football man in and he’d have stayed out of it, that money would have been spent better by whoever we had in as DoF be it Walsh or Brands
