By buying cheap and selling when the market was high?

Oh, so he's a shrewd investor then, rather than a leech. Not complicated.

So he’s not a leech? Sat on the board as chairman sold us when he’s seen pound signs, has never done anything good whatsoever ever for this club exept pretend he’s a boss chairman when he’s not and he’s still freaking here.

I’m made up with Mr Moshri, he is given us plenty of financial backing and it looks likely he’s going to resolve the stadium issue which will be fantastic.

He’s made some mistakes but I do feel he’s learnt from them however this is a big test now.

In the face of what’s going to be a lot of pressure from fans who’s emotions are running high and clueless journalists it’s important he stays strong and allows Silva the time he needs.

If he sacks him now he’s learnt nothing in my opinion.

Splashing the cash? The last transfer window had a net spend of about 25 million pound, a figure covered by TV revenues. The transfer window before that had a net spend of ZERO, which was also covered by TV revenues. Any decent player that we have had has been sold off since he came here.

So let me get this straight, in the last year he has spent nothing and stripped us of our most valuable playing assets, sounds like a forward thinking plan!!!

Year 1: Stones
Year 2: Lukaku
Year 3: Gueye

nothing will be da same doh

Matt let's try this in simple language.

You have £500.

You buy some shares in a company. You do nothing with them.

Hooray! A decade later, those shares are worth £5000. You've done nothing but leave your money in and bored a few people in the pub about it.

You sell.

Now, are you:

1. Incapable of writing a coherent sentence
2. A leech
3. A shrewd investor

Moshiri bought in to Everton in Feb 2016, midway through the 15/16 season.

Pre Moshiri (And Skint)
04/05 - 4th under David Moyes, Top scorer Tim Cahill 11, Most Appearances Kevin Kilbane 38
05/06 - 11th under David Moyes, Top scorer James Beattie 10, Most Appearances Leon Osman 35
06/07 - 7th under David Moyes, Top scorer Andy Johnson 11, Most Appearances Carlsley/Yobo/Lescott 38
07/08 - 5th under David Moyes, Top scorer Yakubu 15, Most Appearances Joleon Lescott 38
08/09 - 5th under David Moyes, Top scorer Cahill/Fellaini 11, Most Appearances Tim Howard 38
09/10 - 8th under David Moyes, Top scorer Louis Saha 13, Most Appearances Tim Howard 38
10/11 - 7th under David Moyes, Top scorer Tim Cahill 9, Most Appearances Baines/Distin/Howard 38
11/12 - 7th under David Moyes, Top scorer Nikica Jelavic 9, Most Appearances Tim Howard 38
12/13 - 6th under David Moyes, Top scorer Marouane Fellaini 11, Most Appearances Leighton Baines 38
13/14 - 5th under Roberto Martinez, Top scorer Romelu Lukaku 15, Most Appearances Leon Osman 38
14/15 - 11th under Roberto Martinez, Top scorer Romelu Lukaku 10, Most Appearances Phil Jagielka 37

Moshiri came in midway through this season
15/16 - 11th under Martinez/Unsworth, Top scorer Romelu Lukaku 18, Most Appearances Ross Barkley 38

Under Moshiri (Splashing the cash)
16/17 - 11th under Ronald Koeman, Top scorer Romelu Lukaku 25, Most Appearances Romelu Lukaku 37
17/18 - 8th under Koeman/Unsworth/Allardyce, Top scorer Wayne Rooney 10, Most Appearances Jordan Pickford 38
18/19 - 11th under Marco Silva, Top scorer Richarlison/Sigurdsson 13, Most Appearances Pickford/Sigurdsson 38
19/20 - Currently 18th under Marco Silva (Relegation Zone)

1 top ten finish under Moshiri, I think we will struggle to this season TBH, so looking at that and say we are moving forward because we have spent money is laughable and deluded.....

If you bother to write this much you could at least get it right.

Koeman, Sam and Silva all finished 7th or 8th under Moshiri.

No problem with Moshiri, Obviously he wanted all the glory and was hoping Silva would be the one but that's failed.
He's pumped money in the club which was needed.
Fat Sam was the correct appointment considering the circumstances.
Not his fault that Walsh and Koeman wasted a good chunk of change on absolute garbage that we had to get rid of on the cheap or can't get rid of.
Obviously the next one is the stadium, I won't be calling for his head if it falls through but I'd be seriously disappointed that the club is leading everyone on that it's possibly going to happen so if that doesn't happen I can understand people ripping his head off.
Actually, when you look back at things calmly and coldly, the signings that Walsh was largely instrumental in turned out much better than those that RoKo did.

It’s easy to be critical of Walsh as a poor DoF, but the signings he made and that we’ve sold on all produced a tidy profit... Vlasic, Lookman, Gana Gueye, and Onyekuru.

Walsh didn’t appear to have a grandiose plan for the long term and a DoF he can be rightly criticised, but his signings were productive in terms of the ultimate sale value realised vs purchase price paid.

Kenwright is a leech end off.

sure he made us some money at a decent profit but we really really needed team upgrades not just buy low sell high at that point which is why Walsh will always be looked on in a bad light.
