Might as well come to terms with the fact that he's not going anywhere. Even when the stadium's built I can't see how he'd get his current investment to date back (he'd have to sell for well over £1 Billion probably closer to £2Billion - for that money you could but an established CL team. Newcastle with a massive stadium already in place went for like £400m right? ). At least he seems committed to lashing money at the problems, just have to hope he lucks out on eventually appointing someone who will spend it wisely.

Yes I’d forgotten about all the trophies we’d won under Bill’s leadership
People on here have a tendency to blame Bill for everything and Im going against the grain.

We won nothing because we had no money yes, but even without money we had a much better team that what we did ever since with started with the DOF nonsense.

Moyes achieved that despite the board.... not because of it. They lucked out with Moyes who had to sell to buy throughout his tenure. Kenwright had the chance to put us in Kings Dock for a fraction of the cost of BMD. Almost 2 decades of lost revenue at a bigger and more central stadium.....

and get bk back? marvelous
BK back? Don’t know if you’ve noticed, mate, but BK has gone nowhere. He’s intrinsically involved in everything including transfers. The only difference between 6 years ago and now is he’s sitting on a pile of £30m. Still involved, still making woeful decisions. The whole board needs firing but Moshiri just won’t do it as he’s not capable of making sound footballing decisions which is why it’s best he moves on before he takes us down.

Sure but isnt that a plus for just leaving the signings in the hands of a competent manager than some suit with a spreadsheet

So he's admitted to what we've all been assuming. Bill Kenwright is very much running the club day to day while Mosh sits on his yacht. No wonder everything hasn't been working out. Bill Kenwright has been on the board since 1989 and overseen our worst period in history and had over seen 21 years without a trophy before Moshiri came along. Yet in all his wisdom he's handed his bank card to the man who's failed us for years. No wonder it's a mess and everything makes so much sense now. Bill is a curse and I truly believe we will never succeed whole he's here and has a say

Step in the right direction Farhad

No apology for bringing the fat man in and dumping us in this mess.

Talks about the strategic review being done by the same clowns that put us into this mess.

Compliments our useless chairman and CEO.

Full focus on the stadium with nothing said about committing to making the footy team not be a car crash on the pitch.

This hasn't left me with any confidence.
