Pumped his own money in
Backed every manager we have had
Got us one of the most decorated managers in football
On the verge of getting us a world class stadium on the river front

How anyone can look at that at this point and say he's been anything but fantastic for us needs their heads testing!

Yes you can point to the BFS appointment or the couple of managerial/DoF appointments but people forget how new he was to this, at Arsenal, there was only ever Wenger while he was there. Whatever mistakes he did make, he learned and moved on.

For me the only major gaffe that should truly have been avoided was appointing a scout as a DOF.

Managerial appointments are always a gamble and while people may not agree with them it's usually a matter of opinion. He's shown that in those circumstances he's willing to realise things aren't working and change them even if it is financially costly and an admission of getting it wrong.

Rumour has it he wanted Brands and Carlo from day 1 and both said no
Imagine where we would be now if he could have pilled that off

“Own money”...... wouldn’t be so sure.

We defiantly have someone to thank for all that, I’d be slightly more open minded about it though.

Article in echo today saying he has paid 50 mil for more shares or something.

Do you think he is trying to get more shares before the stadium is built because once the stadium has been built the value of the club will significantly increase and therefore the value of his shares would be worth a lot more if he ever decided to sell the club. Is this a possibility?

He's put around 450 million in to his investment. Probably more now.

With the new stadium and whatever debt we take on to finance it you'd be looking at a very large amount to make it worthwhile surely. To get that we would have to be consistently competing at the top.

The stadium will help but he doesn't see a return from his money unless we start becoming a force. Should be good news for us all.
