FFS I am nervous about bed or sofa and electricity because I have a perspective to sleep on a cold floor in the darkness. I think there are times when there are no place for jokes...

Not ideal mate, but got a spare blow-up bed if it's any use to you.
The tenancy agreement should be called an Assured Shorthold Tenancy and the contents are quite strictly regulated by the Housing Acts, other regulations including the right to rent which came into force 27th Jan, so they should ask for proof of your right to live in the UK so bring the paperwork with you.

So it's another UPDATE: I am definitely moving on Tuesday because they can't sort out the turning of electricity, gas before.
So I will need all the things on Tuesday.
Hopefully I will just walk to the Wednesday game across the park from my own accommodation.

You can use the Internet in the library mate. Never been to one round there but there are a usually loads of computers that you can use at the one in town.

There's a library on Breck Rd, I've not been for years but most libraries have computers now. I know it's not ideal but it ticks boxes for the dole mate. Also you're within walking distance from the job centre so if they're hassling you regarding searches etc it's no hassle to shoot down. Like I said I've got that cabinet at work and will see if I can pick anything else up in the next few days for you. Be helpful if you could list what you need in order of urgency mate.

Might be worth asking your neighbours if they have wi-fi and if so could you use it until you're sorted. Won't be brilliant but would solve the immediate problem.
