Where do you stand on Brexit mate?

Aside from that test of character shouldn't you be offering some views on the club - in terms of both its current position and future direction - in order to win votes?

People normally say something about what they stand for, so that we can align or not with a representative. I dinne know ye lad.

This is how we ended up with that badge.

Are you going to campaign for healthier food at the finch farm canteen? There are numerous credible concerns about dietary habits at Everton. For example:

1) full English breakfasts being consumed by players before training

2) the apperance of gravy pie and chips as an option at every meal time

Unacceptable.

It would be interesting to learn exactly what qualities each candidate thinks they can bring to the Fans Forum and, other than all being Evertonians, what skills they have ?

And with respect Chris, I think you're wrong on the badge.

Pointing out there is a vote going on to get people involved would be fine imo.
But I would think this is the way to make people not vote for you.

You liked it? Or was it not down to fans consultation. Actually now I think if it, it was scribbled up by a rs wasn't it?

I'd be lying if I said that one season badge didn't grow on me, but that's immaterial really.

I'm pretty certain that any fan consultation was only in the very early stages and not in the actual artwork and no, it wasn't scribbled by a RS. The design process was a pretty exhaustive one and was not rushed or hurried.

And we've veered off topic here mate, let's stick to the Fans Forum election ;)

I hated the badge but that was my most most enjoyable season as a fan so it grew on me too.

The club did heavily promote the consultation with the fans forum on the launch of it - there was images with the fans forum with that crest, and quotes from the existing chairman.

For me it was a significant potential negative of the fans forum, the ability to in effect rail road it as ticking the "fan engagement" box.

To be fair they learned from it with the revised crest, allowing the fan base as a whole to vote etc - just as Man Utd did with their season ticket cards.

So whoever joins the fans forum for me, needs to have confidence to challenge to prevent this;

Everton Fans' Forum, an "excellent and effective group of representative fans", was consulted on the badge redesign, but faced "too big a burden speaking for the entire fan base on something so significant", the club said.

Robert Elstone, Everton's chief executive, said: "Our chairman had demanded widespread consultation and we stopped short of that.

"We talked to our Fans' Forum, our commercial partners and our experienced staff around the club. That was not enough."

So all nominees, please do have courage in your conviction if you join the fans forum ;)

[Edit] To avoid this...

The club have deleted the pages now, but;

Fans’ Forum chairman, Tony Bott, said: “To see the changes that we suggested integrated really did show to us that the Club listened and took our ideas on board. As a representative body for the fans, the Fans’ Forum was there to put its view over for the wider fan-base.

"The Club listened and passed on our feedback before returning with amended versions."
