Homepage Article Fan Advisory Board Statement On Price Rises

Most empty seats this season have been season tickets holders not going, my grandson is waiting but has bought on resale and not missed a game as yet. It maybe a bit short sight but who's to say how long they will be here they could sell us tomorrow at a huge profit.
I hope they DO! sell us at a huge profit, and that the new richer owner does'nt own another Roma like now. Instead, putting 100% into us to succeed with the top flight.

To be honest they have no reason to fleece us, no Europe, out first time of asking in both cups, I hope unlike Trump they have some form of embarrassment and rethink these prices.
Pretty sure they paid themselves the sale of Everton Women football no working capital of sale went back into football .
Corporate Americans dont get embarrassed about fleecing anyone for money.

They're going to bring out a survey where fans will show their displeasure and then nothing further will happen. Their existence is a legal box ticking exercise for the club. They aren't listened to, it's a farce and a waste of time
Like to think all us current season ticket holders all go late to a televised game 15 20 mins... Be assed organising it, still like protest like.

West Ham apparently according to the stats have the best attendance stats.
I don't know how much they charge now, but a guy I worked with in the Middle East had a season ticket when they first moved into the London Stadium. Cost him £99. When he couldn't use it, his brother used it. Not sure how much they're charging now, and I think that was a "loyalty / intro" price to the new stadium as it was a significant capacity uplift on the Boleyn Ground.

Money went on Roma.
May I ask for reasonable link to that sale of money going from Everton Women to Roma please? Not that I disbelieve just its smoke and mirrors in my experience with these sums of money in corporate organisations. They like to suggest and cajole, however, in practice and legally its very different.

When you have TWO clubs of equal parity, surely you've got to keep both clubs and supporters happy with investments.

This only changes when fans across the country come together.

When we see empty seats in other grounds, instead of thinking about the socioeconomic reason people aren’t going to the football, we just mock.

Football is too tribal in this country.

Until we all come together, we’ll continue to be exploited by the billionaires and gulf states that own the sport.

I said yesterday that I think there's going to be a sweetener when Kinnear finally breaks cover and presents this information from the boards' perspective.

There'll be an olive branch of a price freeze next season.

If there isn't then it's a declaration of war on a loyal fanbase who dont deserve the raid on their already overstretched bank accounts and with a cost of living crisis almost upon us.

Been a multi season ticket holder for nigh on 40 years give or take and loved every single occasion at Goodison because of the atmosphere (good and bad) but mostly for the crack with mates. Now, although the stadium is fantastic and the atmosphere will get better, it simply isnt the same. The football has become incidental....which isn't a bad thing as the quality of this league is bang average and it's all played about not losing.
Football is not what it was, and not what it should be. It's a corporate business with owners from pretty much every part of the globe tucking into the riches of the television rights.
I read somewhere, possibly on here not long ago, someone saying that match-going fans are just considered as atmosphere generators for the TV audience and not important for anything else. It's so true. The revenue match-going fans generate in the grand scheme of things is absolutely negligable.
The great strengths of sport like competitiveness, teamwork, pride, passion and such like have been totally eradicated by pure greed.

The cost of watching Everton has grown so much this season with not being able to sell our spare when we can't go due to the obscene fixture changes, the much higher prices for travel and parking, the more hours needed to be taken off work to get to night games etc...and now a 3 x inflation increase for the privilege.

The fundamental thing that leaps out at you this season is that fans dont call the shots at this new stadium - the club have got it locked up so tight (and they've employed an army of stewards for it) that fans are just contactless card paying sheep.

Goodison was a very different proposition where the fans felt they owned the place.

Ok, it's early days, but it's not about time taking care of this. The balance of forces at this club needs to swing back toward fans ASAP or we've lost it within a decade.

Our protest groups need to be up and running and in their faces fighting tooth and nail for every bit of control that can be gained.

People mock the Spirit of Shankly lot - I do too. But their owners know they need to account to them. 8 out of 10 seasons with a price freeze over at Anfield, btw.

The thought of the likes of Kinnear et al - here for 5 minutes, btw - laughing up their sleeves knocks me sick. They should be pilloried for this and forced back on the price rises or at least promise to freeze them for the next season or two.
