He was though.

Had 15 decent minutes either side of half-time.

He's slow on the ball. He doesn't go into tackles (as proved for the first Newcastle goal where he bottled it for no reason when the ball was there).

He's got cut more slack because he's new. Fact is he was signed because he's experienced in the Prem and should have fitted straight in.

He's not very good and if Gylfi/Schneiderlin put in his level of display they'd be crucified for it (which they have been and rightly so).

We literally had to defend for 30 more seconds. Had the ball from kick off and this slap head goes and boots it straight to their keeper. Terrible footballer. Must have been laughed at every day in training at City.
