It would be difficult for him to play three games in ten days after four months' absence, and I guess the Leicester game is more important to the manager.
Is this your personal opinion or has it been announced? You could be right, but he was pretty isolated against Brighton and didn't
have much to do.

Hull are a decent side with possibly more footballing and managerial wherewithal, and too much heart, than our brave, brave lionhearts possess. A loss here is obvious...but if we can limit the damage to, say, a 1 or 2 goal deficit, we can all be proud of our mighty blues. Regardless of the extent of the loss, Goodison will be packed for our next home game: this Everton team is such a beloved one.

Id argue "playing the kids" might give him the best chance of a win ......our mature experienced pros arent exactly leading by example !
Agree with playing the kids...

Add to that the experience and know-how of our top striker Rondon (Captain for the day) to add the experience and bring the kids though and we should win easily...

Go strong or go home. Can't see us getting a result against Leicester anyway so we may as well go as strong as possible here.

Nice to see the 2 new boys getting a run out as well and please please no Rondon, Delph or Iwobi.

Everton have only managed over 50% possession in one game so far this season (52% in the 3-1 win over Burnley) so we can guarantee that whatever team is put out against Hull, we're not going to play any possession football. Hull aren't known for their possession football but we all know that if either side is likely to get 60% possession it's going to be Hull.
Everton have won just 2 in 11 away games this season so there previous season's away form is long gone.
The bookies stupidly have the mighty blues as favourites for this one but a cheeky tenner on Hull to take this in 90 minutes is almost guaranteed to win you an easy £30.
Everton out the cup, Rafael out of a job, Dunc in til the end of the season, onwards and upwards.

Guys we looking good. The new players will make our combined male reproductive organ length immense and too much for Hull.

What I would do:

433 with Delph sitting at DM

Gordon, DCL, Gray

Allan, Delph, Doucouré

Mykolenko, Godfrey, Keane, Patterson

Pickford

Or

442

Tosun, DCL

Gordon, Allan, Doucouré, Gray

Mykolenko, Godfrey, Keane, Patterson

Pickford.

We really need a win here, for morale purposes if nothing else. So I'd go with a starting 11 that is basically full strength (only Mina and Richarlison missing ATM) and look to get a decent lead in the first half.
