Rules is rules though. There they're for a reason and it's not really fair to ignore infringements on a 'no harm done' basis.

It'll all be grist to the mill of the conspiracy theorists who believe FIA are bending over backwards to ensure Verstappen doesn't win / ensure Verstappen does win.

I get that but it just seems like a bit of a pointless rule.

Anyway, Verstappen absolutely flying which is no real surprise given how good he is in the wet. Piastri needs to give Norris a bit of a hand here by holding him up for as long as possible.

Piastri could have maybe defended a bit better but he was going to get overtaken soon enough.
