I was eventually wrong about a race, again. I may keep saying these will be snooze fests each and every week.

I said it was a borefest earlier but it’s been the complete opposite since then

Cannot fathom how that happened, it just snapped left. Can only guess rear wheels touched.

Great race and a great drive from Piastri. McLaren have the best driver pairing in the sport going forward, both young and both top tier.

This season has been mostly fantastic

Loved it from start to finish. Oscar has every chance of finishing second in the Championship. Unfortunately for McLaren, Red Bull were just too strong for too long into the season.

Always makes me laugh how the drivers are obligated to slap on their luxury watches and get them on camera as soon as they get out of their cars. Those contracts don't pay for themselves do they.

Looking at the replay it at least shows Carlos didn't move his wheel to turn into Perez. What a weird collision - gutted for Piastri as that's massively eaten into the points he was about to win over Norris.

The Birds Eye camera made it look like Perez moved over but the onboard with Sainz looked like he was pointing more left but held his line. I’m glad both McLarens finished in front of Verstappen. Just wish Norris was further ahead.

Well, I didn't call it a bottle job. I just think it's amusing how easily we can make excuses for certain drivers yet we know a flag isnt a good excuse for this track as it's very likely to occur, so it really behooves the drivers to get the lap on the board when it counts.

Was watching with no sound when it happened, so missed the reason. Would like to see/know the times from the first runs to see if it would have made any difference.

Good move. LeClerc had opportunities to do similar, but doesn't seem to have the stones Oscar does. Plus left the door pretty wide open for him.

I maintain Oscar is the best driver in the McLaren team.

Would be interesting to see what Lando could have done if he'd made it through Q1. Reckon the race could have been his to lose.

Norris got that elite tier 1 lap pace. Ferrari Q3 nightmare. Merc pulled out a good result as well.

I think the win will be between Norris, Verstappen and possibly Piastri with an outside chance. Id make Norris favourite though due to that superior McLaren tyre deg
