3 games to go, all against teams below us in the league.

Palace, sod all to play for on the back of Europe semi final. Their manager proactively spoke up about a white flag on Friday;

Newly promoted side in Sunderland at home, who hopefully by that game have sod all to play for and we have europe in contention.

18th placed Spurs who hopefully relegated/have sod all to play for.

It's ON.

I’ll go for 4 points out of them. We’re not beating Spurs, win and draw across the others.

I was told loads of times on here that we needed to push on from 48 points with the squad we had in 24/25. We’ve added Grealish KDH and a load of other players and barely moved the needle if low 50s does turn out to be the points total.

Nah, 48 points again would’ve done just fine, however sadly we were tracking for 34 points at the half way stage. Next.

Well yes, if we don’t get more than that when on the same number of points with 3 games remaining then that is not good enough is it?

Let’s be honest even if we only get a handful more it’s hardly groundbreaking stuff is it to return low 50s with KDH Grealish Ndiaye etc. when Jack Harrison McNeil and Docuoure could get 48 and that was with a points deduction hanging over the team and the worst manager in the history of football at the helm apparently.

Grealish has been missing for half the season and Branthwaite has been missing for 80% of the season but ok. McNeil has played more games than Grealish this season, your favourite Michael Keane has comfortably played more than Branthwaite. So I’d say it probably evens out tbh.

Ah so injuries suddenly matter now.

We also don’t have to play Michael Keane. This manager has chosen to extend him twice and not buy a right back. All choices.

What injuries did we have in 23/24?

Well if Branthwaite’s injured he can’t play can he mate? Dyche played him when Branthwaite was injured too, but conveniently you never blamed him for that.

We had a load of injuries in 22/23 and 24/25 but it didn’t stop you absolutely slating the manager at all times. Suddenly now injuries are a factor for you, how convenient.

I’ve been consistent in blaming any manager who selects Michael Keane. You seem to turn a blind eye when it suits though.

Sorry, you’re the one who wanted to directly compare 23/24 to this season. You picked that season out because we got 48 points, so let’s stick to talking about that season shall we. What injuries did we have that season?

You either think injuries affect performance or you don’t. Can’t have it for one manager and not for the other, much as you’d like.
