If the stadium is a success, which is the whole point of moving, then what size stadium do you think we will need 10 years after we move in there?

There's been a few good shouts to start the stadium at 60,000 and this will bring us back in line with half a dozen clubs who will stadiums at that size which in effect would be similar to where we were at 20 years ago.

What though if this stadium with a quality design and location does prove a hit with our fans and newcomers and provides the springboard to take us to the next level on the pitch. ie regularly challenging for Champions League entry, plus a few trophies, a few real top drawer players.

What then? Would 60,000 be enough if we think we can get upto 60000 with our status now?

Should we ultimately looking for the stadium to be capable of expanding to be the biggest club ground England? ie 75-80000 maximum? ie scope for an incremental increase totalling 15-20000 equivalent to an extra/extended tier on each stand. Isn't that the whole purpose of Everton to be the best? Nil Satis Nisi Optimum.

You may be thinking it's nice to dream about this stuff and it's years off or it probably won't happen, but Everton are in the early planning stages now, so this needs to be addressed now.

We should be getting guarantees from the club or from the Mayor that our new stadium will be able to expand and at this stage a rough figure of how much. It is our club and our City too. This may not be a club issue it may be council issue, so let's have some transparency.

There has been nothing about the potential size of this of what the stadium will be able to expand to which means that we have to be watchful and pushy over this area until we have some re assurances.

No it's different because we need to make sure the club ensure that the stadium will be able to expand so we all need to be aware of it. I also expect it also be an ongoing issue.

We could have a 10k mini stadium with VR headsets and cameras stuck to players/360o cameras pitch side. Then you could get a players-eye view. Could see that being a hit with tourists.
Plus, as if they truly care about match going fans.. popularity means increasing the prices- if you can't pay- you wont go.
