Everton Youth Teams Thread



Was it their full side or U23's?
It was their u23s…it’s grim but in my opinion it’s an indication of where our Academy is right now.

Those who believe players that not longer go were released at other clubs are going to come in and miraculously save our first team are seriously setting both themselves and the individual up for trouble.

I hope they come good, some individuals have certainly improved in recent years but in general, the Academy is in as poor a shape as I can remember it.
 
Could be wrong like, but I think Cameron Bell is on trial at Liverpool having not been offered a scholar at Everton. Quite highly rated having played for Scotland and England.

Think there’s also a centre half in the 16s who also wasn’t offered a scholarship for some reason, now he’s at Manchester City.

Something needs to change across the board if lads who aren’t offered scholarships here are offered them at bigger clubs with better academies.
